  • 15:39 I think at least once a day there's something that reminds me why I dislike using Windows.
  • 16:45 Hmmm... should I pick up Dragon Age just in case of swine flu epidemic? Need game options in addition to MREs, shotgun, barbed wire.

Definitely get Dragon Age. Just don't patch the game yet if you get the PC version, the 1.01 patch released tonight is apparently very buggy.

Anyway, besides that, Dragon Age is a fantastic game. I haven't played better RPG since Baldur's Gate 2. It might just beat out BG2, in my mind, because it adds so much replayability. (Not that I've actually tested out this replayability. I think I'm at somewhere around 27-30 hours played and I'm not even close to done yet unless the ending slams up faster than I expect.)

Have you switched to windows seven yet? a vast majority of my annoyance with windows has gone away since making this transition.

Alternatively, there's various flavors of Linux, but it always seems that the software I need the most both has no counterpart and is completely unsupported by Wine.
