My Own Private Idaho
Or, my own private web forum. As part of Gleemax, I now have a staff web forum that you can post to. You need a Gleemax account to post, but getting on is easy peasy.

I have a log for my current D&D campaign there. I *think* anyone can start threads there, but I am not positive. If you can't, give me a holler here and I'll start a generic discussion thread.

Gleemax seems inaccessible; it took a longer loading time than LiveJournal--but I guess that's just me in South-East Asia.

Wonder if in the future, all WotC staffs have to move whole/part of their blogging activity to Gleemax.

This sounds like you're taking a stance on some issue of principle, rather than something technical or practical. What exactly in their terms of service make it impossible for you to post there? I don't remember having to provide my SSN or the soul of my firstborn to join.

That said, I think that (discussion boards aside) Gleemax in its current form is a steaming pile of excrement, which is I'm sure why the WotC staff blogs migrated back to the regular forums.

Intuition suggests this bodes ill for the future of Gleemax, but we'll see.

I refuse to give Hasbro rights to my IP. It is clearly written in the TOS that posts become property of Hasbro.

You could just not post things that you care about losing the rights for. The replies to this LJ post, for instance, contain nothing you should care about losing.

Just don't post mechanics from a game, or whatever.
